Good as Gold Jewellers have the latest laser technology. Traditional techniques can make a repair job extremely time-consuming and therefore expensive. Our laser tech speeds up and shortens the processes with microscopic accuracy, so what was once an expensive process is now more cost-effective for our customers.

As a traditionally trained goldsmith I have an eye for the details that others might miss, or not have enough knowledge to recognise. With over 30 years of Goldsmithing experience at Good as Gold, we carry out restorations, mend worn parts and replace stones and much more.

A Goldsmith makes jewellery from raw materials; gold, platinum, palladium or even Silver, and we have the knowledge to tell you if it is possible and the skills to make it happen.
A retail jeweller can sell you jewellery, tell you how pretty it will look and charge you an inflated price for the privilege. Unfortunately, the staff are often not technically trained to advise you on the limits of the wearability of a piece, nor the longevity.
